Software Engineering Intern

Red Hat is seeking Software Engineering Interns to join our team. Interns will actively contribute to day-to-day tasks and projects under the guidance of a senior mentor. You will gain technical knowledge and experience, collaborate with a global engineering team, and work on multiple projects. Projects and learning may include areas such as Ansible, RHEL, OpenShift, AI, and more, utilizing technologies like Python, GitHub, Java, Agile, and JavaScript. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining code in Python, Golang, or similar languages; adding new features; debugging and tracking issues in Red Hat products; collaborating with Quality Engineering, Designers, Product Management, and Documentation teams throughout the product cycle; and networking with other interns. Requirements include currently pursuing the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline; working knowledge of written and spoken English; basic knowledge of and passion for Software Engineering, particularly Python, Golang, or similar languages; passion, curiosity, and a desire to learn and create; and a willingness to work proactively as part of a team. Candidates must have the ability to work without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
