Software Engineer Intern (Product Engineering, AI & Test Automation)

The Software Engineer Intern will join the Product Engineering team to contribute to the development of next-generation AI-powered enterprise applications. This role involves working alongside experienced architects, developers, and quality engineers to build, test, and optimize scalable software solutions using modern technologies including Python, Generative AI, APIs, Cloud Platforms, Automation Frameworks, Data Platforms, and Microservices within an Agile environment. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components with Python and modern frameworks, building and validating REST APIs, and developing AI-powered solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The intern will also contribute to backend services using FastAPI and microservices architecture, design and implement automated test frameworks, create reusable automation scripts, and execute various test plans including functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing. Additional duties involve analyzing defects, identifying root causes, collaborating on resolutions, working with structured and unstructured data for business rules, participating in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical documentation. The intern will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams across global locations and explore emerging AI technologies to apply innovative solutions to real-world business challenges.
