Qualcomm is seeking energetic, creative, and self-driven Software Engineers for campus hire. This role involves designing and developing software for Qualcomm's cutting-edge mobile chipsets. Campus graduates will contribute to areas such as Multimedia Technologies (Audio, Video codecs, Image Processing), Wireless Modem Technologies (4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, SON), Platform Level Software (Linux, Android, Windows, BSPs), and IoT Technologies (Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, VR/AR). Responsibilities include developing real-time embedded software, device drivers, mobile software for Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux, and working with wireless network standards and communication protocols. The role requires a strong understanding of OS concepts, data structures, C/C++, and object-oriented design principles. Opportunities span across Android and Windows Mobile based embedded platforms, multimedia software stacks, wireless modem and connectivity software, communication protocol stacks, kernel/BSP/driver development, application software and UI development, and embedded device SW architecture.
