Application Security Engineer

We are seeking an Application Security Engineer with 0-2 years of experience in Security Operations or Application Security. This role involves conducting risk assessments, identifying and prioritizing technical risks, and translating vulnerabilities into business risks. You will perform threat modeling for applications and services, lead threat modeling sessions with engineering teams, and manage the full lifecycle of vulnerabilities. Responsibilities include implementing and tuning SAST, DAST, and IAST tools, conducting manual code reviews for critical logic, and monitoring/triaging security alerts from various detection mechanisms. You will also develop automation scripts for alert handling, analyze suspicious activity, validate incidents, and support incident response. Collaboration with development teams to remediate findings and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines is essential. Strong documentation skills are required for findings and recommendations.
