Graduate Engineer Trainee

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join their Business Operations pillar. This role involves developing technical experience through industrial automation projects, focusing on roadmap features, customer success, technical debt, and product health. The trainee will analyze and design software programs, write and test code using MS stack technologies, and follow Agile development processes. Responsibilities include completing documentation, defining system requirements, and translating requirements into well-engineered technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or IT, a CGPA of 7.0 or above, and 0-1 year of experience, preferably graduating in 2025-2026. Prior completion of a CDAC course is preferred. Required technical skills include hands-on experience with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), object-oriented programming (C#), web frameworks (ASP.NET, ASP, Node.js), database design/modeling, performance tuning, web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and version control systems (Git, Subversion). Strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive learning attitude, good work ethics, and the ability to meet customer service metrics and SLAs are essential. The role requires effective collaboration in individual and team settings, with diverse and cross-cultural teams. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, AI tools (GitHub, Copilot), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and industrial automation concepts is advantageous.
