DIH Intern, Data Engineering

Lowe's India is seeking a DIH Intern for a Data Engineering role. This position involves assisting in the translation of business requirements into data and platform solutions, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, and supporting testing activities. Responsibilities include developing, configuring, and maintaining data solutions, assisting with data lake and data curation pipelines, supporting BI solutions, and maintaining analytical capabilities. The role also involves administering Hadoop clusters, performing application maintenance, and contributing to hybrid cloud solution design. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business requirements and functional specifications into modules and data/platform solutions. - Support the development, configuration, and modification of integrated business and enterprise application solutions. - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of business data solutions. - Support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Understand and apply company methodologies, policies, and standards in software development. - Research innovative technical trends and developments. - Troubleshoot technical problems and contribute to solutions. - Support the build, maintenance, and enhancement of data lake development. - Support the build, maintenance, and enhancement of data curation pipelines. - Maintain the health and monitoring of assigned analytic capabilities. - Support the build, maintenance, and enhancement of BI solutions, including reports and metrics. - Monitor jobs/cubes and resolve user access requests. - Administer Hadoop clusters, perform application installs, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. - Contribute to the design of hybrid cloud-based solutions.
