Data Analyst I

Emerson Automation Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst I for its Chennai, Tamil Nadu office. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates passionate about data management, Excel, and process improvement. The Data Analyst I will be responsible for maintaining, validating, and enhancing the quality of install base data for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Key responsibilities include collecting and validating install base data, performing database upkeep, ensuring data quality through validation and cleaning, monitoring team mailboxes for data updates, supporting spare parts list (RSPPL) generation, analyzing repair reports, converting paper-based records to digital archives, and facilitating process automation and reporting. The role requires strong Excel skills (formulas, PivotTables, data handling), proficiency in Power Query for data transformation, strong numerical ability, and excellent English communication skills. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, and data automation tools is preferred.
