Software Engineer

Intuit is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This role is designed for individuals early in their careers with less than two years of experience, eager to learn and contribute. You will be placed on a team that aligns with your skills and interests to foster growth and impact. Responsibilities include: - Developing scalable, responsive, and dynamic web applications using modern frontend tools and frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue.js) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Building web applications using server-side languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js), working with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and designing RESTful APIs. - Potentially contributing to full-stack development, understanding application and API architectures. - Developing mobile applications for platforms like Android and iOS using frameworks such as React Native or Flutter. - Contributing to core products, services, and engineering operations, applying best practices in software development. - Collaborating closely with designers, UX specialists, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams. - Participating in an environment that embraces experimentation and rapid prototyping. - Learning and receiving mentorship from experienced team members. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Foundational understanding of Agile development, object-oriented design, and programming principles. - Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++). - Basic knowledge of front-end web technologies is a plus. - Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills. - Awareness of AI concepts and basic understanding of capabilities like Generative AI. - Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
