Analyst Trainee

Cognizant is hiring Fresher Analyst Trainees for full-time positions. The role offers alignment to various IT practices including Multicloud, Digital Workplace Services, Integrated Smart Operations, or IT practice, based on candidate qualifications. Responsibilities may include performing database queries, CRUD operations, writing stored procedures, preparing and executing tests, analyzing and resolving service tickets, and demonstrating proficiency in IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools. Specific roles may involve maintaining and administering computing environments, monitoring production servers, handling incident management, and providing support for Windows, Network, Database, Storage, Messaging, Collaboration, and Cloud environments. Additionally, candidates may provide first-line technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of IT services. Key Responsibilities: - Perform database queries and CRUD operations. - Write stored procedures based on Low-Level Design. - Prepare and execute manual/automated tests. - Analyze root causes and resolve service tickets according to standard operating procedures. - Demonstrate proficiency in IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools. - Maintain and administer computing environments and monitor production servers. - Handle incident management and provide support for various IT infrastructure components. - Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues. - Log and track all support tickets accurately. - Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. - Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation. - Adhere to customer security and compliance requirements. - Follow customer communication etiquettes. - Ensure productivity requirements are met. - Contribute to continuous service improvement plans. - Participate proactively in knowledge-sharing sessions. - Act as a buddy for new hires. - Adhere to organizational policies and processes. Requirements: - Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in India. - Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment and relocate as per business needs. - Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Open to Indian nationals / OCIs residing in India.
