Responsibilities:
As an SDET Intern at Ridecell, your key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to quality engineering, automation testing, and continuous integration practices with a focus on back-end APIs and systems integration.
- Collaborating with multiple teams across different geographies for continuous improvements and innovation.
- Designing and developing frameworks and robust automation test scripts.
- Conducting code reviews to manage automation code quality and guide teams on best practices.
- Working on ongoing projects and assignments, applying a broad knowledge of industry standards and practices to ensure quality.
- Closely working with product and development teams for scoping, sizing, and creating strategies and technical designs for quality delivery.
- Participating in sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, and adapting to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A BS/B.Tech degree in Computer Science from a reputed institution.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures.
- Experience in creating test frameworks using open-source automation tools.
- Solid knowledge of test architectural principles, concepts, and their application in web/cloud-based technologies.
- Hands-on experience in writing clean code quickly in languages like Java, Python, or Ruby, along with code review techniques.
- Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle processes, and project management techniques.
- Familiarity with Test and Behavior Driven Development (TDD and BDD) using frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Capybara, Appium, and Calabash.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services with JSON and XML payloads.
- Knowledge of build systems like TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, and Ant.
- Full-stack web development expertise, including JavaScript, CSS/Less, Sphinx, Redis, and Rspec.
