Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end implementation of data pipelines on cloud-based data platforms.
Develop and maintain data processing applications using Python, Pyspark, and optionally Java or Scala.
Write and optimize SQL queries, structure data, and implement data storage practices.
Build stream-processing applications using Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, Kafka, etc.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines based on Gitlab.
Assemble and manage large, complex structured and unstructured datasets.
Conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and follow best practices.
Debug and upgrade existing systems.
Knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience with Snowflake and data transformation using Data Build Tool is advantageous.
Strong programming skills in Python and Pyspark; experience with Java or Scala is a plus.
Familiarity with AWS and API Integration, as well as data warehousing concepts.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
