The Work You Will Do
At Deloitte, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects across Risk & Financial Advisory. You will delve into diverse Offering Portfolios and Industries, encompassing Portfolio-wide Operating Units. This dynamic structure allows professionals to specialize in their skills while staying agile to meet clients’ current needs and seize emerging opportunities in evolving markets.
You will gain exposure to multiple technology risk domains, including cyber incident simulations, security testing, ethical hacking, cyber incident response, cloud application security, secure software, forensics, and IT controls, to name a few.
In this role, you will design, implement, test, manage, and operate risk management programs, processes, and systems to address the challenges and risks faced by global clients.
Your Experiences Could Include
Your experiences at Deloitte may involve:
- Enhancing operational performance by analyzing clients’ IT controls and processes across security and risk management operations.
- Supporting live applications related to data privacy and security controls.
- Providing managed services programs through ITIL-aligned processes to sustain highly secure and available mission-critical systems and address software vulnerabilities.
- Establishing methods for monitoring “smart” devices connected to the enterprise network.
- Performing continuous monitoring and security analytics as part of a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Handling incident response support, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and simplifying complex technical issues for clients.
- Integrating business needs and technology solutions, including developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementation.
- Assisting forensic accountants in detecting and measuring fraud or other violations.
- Querying and mining large data sets to discover patterns and assess predictive modeling capabilities.
- Assessing clients’ control effectiveness to ensure the reliability of external financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and safeguarding mission-critical assets.
Qualifications Required
To be eligible for the Analyst Trainee role at Deloitte, you should have:
- Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in fields related to Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, EEE, ECE, EIE, and other ancillary Circuital branches.
- Graduating in 2024.
- A cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 60% or equivalent, with no standing backlog or arrears.
- Not been assessed by Deloitte in the past six months.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) to effectively communicate in a global, virtual platform.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, attention to detail, and process adherence.
- Customer-centric focus on solving customer-reported issues effectively.
- Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying areas of continuous improvement.
- Moderate computer programming skills, including languages like C, C++, Java, Python, programming foundations, Relational Databases, Networking Concepts, and SQL.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A strong grasp of the cybersecurity and risk domains is a plus.
- A profound curiosity and agility.
