Job Description:

As a Java Developer – Intern, you will work on developing and delivering solutions for some of the largest and most innovative organizations globally. You will get hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems, collaborating with developers and product teams. The role requires working in an agile software development environment, contributing to development sprints, and being part of regular release cycles. You will be responsible for owning complete feature stories and pushing the technical envelope to achieve great results for Cornerstone.

In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain backend components using Java EE.
Identify, analyze, and resolve moderately complex software issues.
Participate in designing and developing APIs.
Write code, unit tests, and perform testing and debugging for moderately complex features.
Support the integration of UI components with backend services.
Develop solutions for moderately complex features based on agreed technical specifications.
Assist in documenting processes, architecture, and technical design.
Effectively communicate progress and challenges with the team.

You’ve got what it takes if you have:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Solid skills in Core and Advanced Java/Java EE.
Strong understanding of web development technologies.
A good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Basic understanding of UI technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or experience working with front-end teams).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
