GenC – Job Description

• Understand business requirements and raise clarifications

• Develop, test, debug, and deploy code

• Understand Agile methodology and software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Create low-level component designs

• Collaborate with team members for high-quality, cost-effective solutions

• Continuously upskill/reskill to align with changing technologies

Eligibility Criteria

• 2025 batch of B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech

• Streams like Leather Tech, Food Tech, Fashion Tech, etc. are not eligible

• Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (No rounding off)

• No standing arrears allowed at the time of joining

• Flexibility to work in any Cognizant location, shift, or technology

• Must be an Indian national or OCI currently residing in India

GenC Next – Eligibility

• Advanced programming and full stack capabilities

• Must hold industry-recognized certifications in technologies such as:

  • Java, C#, Python

  • Web Tech (HTML, CSS, JS)

  • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP

  • SQL, Spring Boot, REST APIs

  • Object-Oriented Programming, DSA

  • .Net Core, Entity Framework, etc.

GenC Pro – Eligibility

• Expertise in platforms like:

  • Cybersecurity, Oracle, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega

  • SAP ABAP/Basis, ServiceNow

• Must possess industry-accredited certifications in these technologies
