About the Team & Role

Cyberattacks have become more complex, making cybersecurity a core focus for Airbus. Interns will support digital cybersecurity business projects and contribute to secure architecture and development efforts.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, architects, operations teams, and security experts to improve Airbus’s cybersecurity posture and support risk-based security strategies.

As a Digital Cyber Security Intern, You Will:

Investigate threats across Windows, Linux/Unix, network, and cloud domains.
Develop security automation for efficient incident investigation and response.
Work with tools such as Splunk, SOAR platforms, and log management systems.
Research and document latest vulnerabilities and suggest mitigations.
Apply secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and Security-by-Design principles.
Engage in security architecture discussions and documentation.
Participate in threat research forums to stay up to date on trends.
Contribute with a collaborative and innovation-driven mindset.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, CS, or equivalent
Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar
Basic knowledge of frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001 (advantageous)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
